Souvenir Programme by Chappell Grand Pianoforte, circa 1900 - 1910.
Vladimir de Pachmann and M Ysaye, Mme Stralia at the Piano M Theo Sysaye.
Large 10 page programme.
The World Famous Russian Pianist, M Vladimir de Pachmann will play exclusively on a Chappell Pianoforte at all his engagements in Great Britain.
Ysaye (Eugene Ysaye), world famous Belgian violinist, plays two of his own works, plus works by Veracini, Saint-Saens and Vieuxtemps. Programme has photos of Ysaye, Stralia and Pachmann.
Interesting double page "pen pix" of Ysaye, Clara Butt, Pachmann and Elsa Stralia (opera singer) which would look marvellous framed.
Stralia sings Cavatina by Rossini and Aria by Puccini.
Pachman plays five works by Chopin - Etude, Impromptu, Prelude, Mazurka and Valse (Waltz).
Programme measures 11" tall by 8" wide, a little creased, lightly soiled (front cover most affected, internally better), but intact. Please see photos for condition.
Nevertheless this is an extremely scarce concert programme featuring some iconic performers from the turn of the century (19th / 20th).
