Description
Up for auction is an Out-of-Print, 7-inch Limited Edition of the inauguration of Dust-to-Digital’s vinyl imprint on Parlortone, the historic 20-second version of Au Clair de la Lune made on April 9, 1860, seventeen years before Thomas Edison invented the phonograph. This beautiful, one-sided 45rpm record comes complete with an etched back, a descriptive essay and a reproduction of Édouard-Léon Scott De Martinville’s original Au Clair phonautogram. Produced in 2009. Near fine condition, never played.
