Will Marion Cook was an African American composer and violinist who formed the Southern Syncopated Orchestra as a Jazz Band between 1918-1922. The band broke up in 1922 after a boat they were travelling on sunk and nine band members died. So this is a very, very scarce programme / memento of this band.
