Description
(I started collecting records as a hobby, but am liquidating my collection because of age and health. I grade the RECORDS as NM (Near Mint) if there is no writing or tears on the labels, no ring marks, no stickers. The sound tracks might have a very few superficial, very light rub scratches but otherwise look bright and shiny. I grade E (Excellent) if the label has very faint ring marks, no writing, no tears or rips and no stickers other than a tiny one placed by a DJ, or a small DJ hole. The sound tracks might have some finger prints, light scratches or tiny chip marks on the very edge but still be shiny. A VG (Very Good) record might have a value sticker, some writing or small damage on the label. The sound tracks might have various kinds of marring or be dulled from playing, or be very slightly rolled on the edge or have a very slight warp. I toss any that don’t play through or have too much distracting background noise or visual damage. I list them by label, artist, record #, selections, and sleeve (if picture). The records are listed by label, artist, record number, song titles and grade. This is a case of (160+) mixed genre 45 RPM records, mainly pop, rock, country, old-time, mostly without sleeves. They are: COLUMBIA: Harry James & Orchestra, 4-50001: Two O’Clock Jump/One O’Clock Jump: NM; Duke Ellington & Orchestra, Al Hibbler, vocalist, 4-50059: Don’t Get Around Much Anymore/Do Nothing Until You Hear from Me: E; Bob Dylan, 13-33259: A Fool Such As I/Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door: NM; The Cyrkle, 4-43589: Red Rubber Ball/How Can I Leave Her: VG; Johnny Ray, 4-40528: Song of the Dreamer/I’ve Got So Many Million Years: E; Lu Ann Simms, 4-40937: The Still Small voice/Run Don’t Walk: NM; Jo Stafford, 4-40143: Adi-Adios Amigo ( II Passerotto)/Make Love to Me: E; Jo Stafford, 4-40832: King of Paris/Wind in the Willow: E; Jo Stafford, 4-39930: Just Because You’re You/Now and Then, There’s a Fool Such As I: E; Jo Stafford, 4-39891: Once to Every Heart/Keep It a Secret: E Jo Stafford, 4-40559: The Night Watch/Suddenly there’s a Valley: VG; Jo Stafford, 4-4-116: Floatin’ Down to Cotton Town/’Way Down Yonder in New Orleans: E; Frankie Laine, 4-40856: There’s Not a Moment to Spare/Love Is a Golden ring: E; Frankie Laine, 4-40962: The 3:10 to Yuma/You Know How It Is: E; Frankie Laine, 4-39693: How Lovely Cooks the Meat/Sugarbush: VG; Doris Day:, 4-42912: Twinkle Lullaby/Move Over Darling: E; Patti Page, 4-44353: Gentle on My Mind/Excuse Me: E; Patti Page, 4-45159: I Wish I Had a Mommy Like You/He’ll Never Take the Place of You: E; Eydie Gorme, 4-42790: Don’t Try to Fight It/Theme from Light Fantastic (My Secret World: VG; Eydie Gorme, 4-42661: Guess I Should Have Loved Him More/Blame It on the Bossa Nova: NM; Steve Lawrence, 4-42795: More/Poor Little Rich Girl: E; Mark Lindsay, 4-45037: Arizona/Man from Houston: E; Mark Lindsay, 4-33181: Arizona/Miss America: E; Barbra Streisand, 4-42965: I Am Woman/People: VG; Barbra Streisand, 4-45944: The Way We Were/What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?: E; Barbra Streisand, 1-11364: Run Wild/Woman in Love: VG; Barbra Streisand, 4-43612: Sam, You Made the Pants too Long/The Minute Waltz: E; Barbra Streisand, 3-10756: Honey Can I Put on Your Clothes/Songbird: E; Barbra Streisand, 3-10450: Love Theme from “A Star Is Born” (Evergreen)/I Believe in Love: E; PAGEANT RECORDS: Bernie Roberts, P-711: You Call Everybody Darlin/Coo See Coo: VG; Bernie Roberts, P-712: Pretty Dancing Girl/The West A Nest and You: VG; PALETTE COLOR IN MUSIC: Reg Owen and His Orchestra, PZ-5005: Ritual Blues/Manhattan Spiritual: VG; PARAMOUNT: Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, PAA-0146: My Home in My Hand/Hot Rod Lincoln: VG; The Mills Brothers, PAA-0095: I’m Sorry I Answered the Phone/Happy Songs of Love: NM; PARKWAY RECORDS: Chubby Checker, P-890: Hooka Tooka/Loddy Lo: E; Chubby Checker, 811: The Twist/Twistin U.S.A.: VG; Chubby Checker, P-849: Limbo Rock/Popeye: NM; Chubby Checker, P-824: Let’s Twist Again/Everything’s Gonna’ Be All Right: E; Chubby Checker, P-897: Surf Party/Twist It Up: E; Chubby Checker, P-907: Hey Bobba Needle/Spread Joy: E; The Dovells, P-827: Bristol Stomp/Letters of Love: NM; The Dovells, P-867: Wildwood Days/You Can’t Sit Down: VG; The Dovells, P-882 (Promotional Copy): Dance the Froog/Betty in Bermuda: VG; George Tindley, P-834 (D.J.
