Description
This auction is for 2 Count Basie promotional photographs, one of which is autographed.
Photo 1- glossy 8 1/8”x 10” photograph with Autograph in dark blue pen. Photo is in good condition. Corners are moderately dinged, and there are small indents throughout that can be seen when placed under light. They are minor and do not go all the way through, nor can they be seen on the reverse of the photo. There are no rips or other damage. Signature is in very good condition with no issues.
Photo 2- matte/flat postcard esque paperstock that measures 5 1/8”x 7”. Slight yellowing in one part on front, speckled marks on back. Imperfect corners but very good condition considering their age.
Auction photos are scans and depict actual condition. I have no provenance- these photos are from a box of records and ephemera from my deceased grandfather. He at one point contributed reviews/small articles to Downbeat magazine and saved a lot of these promotional photos.
