Description

The Cramps are one of those bands that had a huge influence on music, but never really got the credit they deserved.  They basically invented Psychobilly, and to this day, nobody does it better.

This is the original 1983 UK Illegal Records release (ILP-012), with the groovy dead wax imprints "What colour panties are you wearing?" (on side 1), "And how long have you been wearing them?" (on side 2)

Grading: (Poor, Good, Very Good, Excellent, Near Mint, Mint)

  • Jacket - EX: The only thing keeping this from being NM is: a) the 3D glasses are missing, and b) there is a small bit of the cover torn loose from the middle of the top seam (but restricted to the seam, not extending onto the actual cover - you can see this in the pictures). Otherwise there is no real ring, corner, seam, or spine wear to mention.
  • Sleeve - N/A
  • Vinyl - EX: Much like the cover, the only thing keeping me from calling this NM is a 100% cosmetic scratch on side two - it's clear and visible but does not impact play.  Otherwise this thing is a real gem.

A note about grading: I do my best to be as honest and objective as possible for all cosmetic evaluation, but obviously opinions differ.  My VG might be your NM and some other dude's G, and when in doubt I'll go for the lower rating.  However, I do make sure to confirm the vinyl play grading by putting each disc on the turntable and listening to it.
