Description
INCREDIBLY RARE -- TWO KNOWN TO EXIST! Spray paint stencil Deerhoof band members constructed and used to create the covers to the original "Reveille" vinyl on the "Global, buddy!" InkWrecks label ten years ago (in my back yard in Minneapolis).
This is a gorgeous and fragile art piece that is suitable for framing, gallery display, etc. I already sold the only other one I know about, but that was without this:
ORIGINAL "REVEILLE" TEST PRESSING on "Global, buddy!" InkWrecks -- this is the singular copy that was approved as being flawless and used as the template for the 550 press run that I put out on my label. There were four test pressings originally, but this is the only one I have been able to locate (it was the only one I thought sounded perfect enough to go to press with, so it's the only copy I kept track of -- says "good!" in sharpie on the front :) Played twice to approve as flawless for pressing and then filed until now.
Listed in Pitchfork Top 100 albums in 2004!
Comes with The Last Trumpeter Swan sticker (unstuck), "Global, buddy!" encrypted Senior Corporate Abolitionist/the fate made freedom ache business card, and the aforementioned stencil, of course!
