Roots Dub Style ? Roots Radics [Scorpio DK 1011] 1984 SEALED!
This Canadian-produced LP features dubs to most of the tunes on Two Time Girl, another Scorpio released LP which features stalwart roots performances by Roman Stewart, Naggo Morris, the Heptones, etc.
Sound samples featured are to Naggo's "False Rasta" and Earl Sixteen's "The World Has Begun."

We clean all of our records using an ultrasonic process. Sound clips are taken, if possible for 12" records, for the first 45 seconds, then the transition to DJ or dub for 30 seconds; finally we sample another 45 seconds of the last, interesting section of the side. These times are approximate and the entire sample set is within one track. Sometimes we only sample two sections, the first 45 secs and the transition to DJ/dub. The other side samples the first 45 secs. For LPs we sample between one and three tracks, for the first 45 secs. Section sampling times are thus 30, 45 or 60 seconds approximately.
