DISCONET VOLUME 5 PROGRAM 8 - Splash When We Touch - Disconet Program Service MWDN 508
Rare disco edits, this volume (on offer here is only disc 2 of the original 2LP release) features a unique edit of the vocal and dub of 'When we touch' by the super wanted (and expensive) 12 inch by Eddy Grant's brother's group Splash. One of the highlights of the track is the long tuned percussion workout halfway into the song (lifted off the dub side). Probably your best bet to get a version of the song that works on the dancefloor. Somehow this Disconet release often shows up with only disc one included, so you'd miss out on Splash, but here's disk 2! The other (boogie - soul) tracks on this LP are also worth checking out.
