Description
Elvis Presley: Aloha from Hawaii Via Satelite. VPSX 6089 Quadraphonic Stereo Double Album from 1973.Original US DJ promotional copy. These promo records are getting harder to find now in good condition.
Condition is Used. Cover: Has no major damage but shows signs of sticker removal from front cover across elvis's name and general storage and rub marks on top edges of outside covers and the inside of the gatefold. the us covers are more prone to wear than uk ones owing to the board and paste construction. cover is different to the uk version as it is die cut. has the track listings and concert date sticker on front plus the QuadraDisc advertising sticker with factory embost promo stamp on top left corner of back cover, it also went through to the inner record sleeve at the time of the stamp. Inner covers are clean and have no rips but do show compresion marks from long term storage.
Record lables: three are nice and clean one has what looks like a water mark on it. no stickers or writing.
Records: . look nice and clean but do show lite surface marks and scuffs when seen through a magnifying glass. The one i use is the same size as the record lables.
Play Back. Records have been play tested on a Kenwood stereo system through sound lab head phones as i do not have a quad set up or a 4.0 surround sound to play them on. sound quality is very good+ although there are some very very faint back ground tics more noticeable on track 3 of record 2 american trilogy. if you have 4.0 surround sound then the records should sound as they are ment to as it is the modern day equivalent of the 1970's Quadraphonic sound which failed commercially.
