Description

I’m having a bit of a ‘clear-out’ and selling off some unwanted or duplicate items I have.  There’s a lot of varied items, so please do check out my other listings.

This auction is for a rare item - rare because it's COMPLETE with all the extras!:

It's the Elvis Presley 4 record Vinyl Box Set entiltled 'Worldwide Gold Award Hits vol. 2' -"The Other Sides".

As I say, it comes complete with the original Poster and SEALED envelope that contains a small square piece of fabric.  Written on the envelope are the words "Something from ELVIS' wardrobe for you".  Please note that the poster has fold marks where it's been left in the box (it's nearly 40 years old!) but has no tears or other crease/blemishes!

I know that these sets were originally given out as part of a promotional campaign to mark Elvis' Vegas engagement by his Manager, Colonel Tom Parker.  Even the inner sleeves are the originals, splashed with adverts for other Elvis  releases in a variety of formats.

The HONEST Bit- What stops this set from being worth a lot of money is the conditon of the box.  It's poor.  The box has had tape repair around the corners and there's a small few tears, though it is generally sturdy.  The front is also very patchy and doesn't show up on the photo.  The back of the box has faired much better!

The condition of the vinyl is good, with only light marks (I don't have a record play so can't vouch that there are any skips etc).

There are plenty of these sets available on ebay at the moment but getting one that is complete with both the SEALED envelope and Poster is very rare.

I also have Volume one for sale, again complete with the booklet.  This is in very good condition - please see my other listing.

Payment by Paypal please.  Postage will be £ FREE in the  UK and £7 (World).

Thank you for looking!
