VARIOUS "Hootenanny In London" (Decca LK 4544) original UK 1963 MONO pressing (red/silver label)
RARE! On the unboxed red Decca label comes this obscure folk collection, subtitled "Midnight Folk Concert, Recorded in London May 1963". Tracks from LOU KILLEN, ALEX CAMPBELL, MARTIN CARTHY, REDD SULLIVAN, BOB DAVENPORT, NIGEL DENVER etc. Although I don't think she's on the record, the cover quite clearly has a young ANNE BRIGGS on the left... from the same photo on the cover of her rare 1963 TOPIC EP.
A must for any progressive rock / folk collection!

DESCRIPTION : Nice copy - disc has a few ultra-light surface scuffs - looks played once or twice - full sheen. Labels pristine. Flipback sleeve shows only light wear. NICE!

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
