Description
Back in 1979 the LA punk scene was out of sight. Black Flag, Fear, the Adolescents, Black Randy, The Weirdos, Circle Jerks -- they were all there. But perhaps the most iconic and now most legendary were The Germs.
They didn't last long, but man, when they were around they were beasts.
This is their first and only LP, (GI), containing such epic tracks as Manimal and What We Do Is Secret
This is the original 1979 RCA Records stereo release (SR-103).
Grading: (Poor, Good, Very Good, Excellent, Near Mint, Mint)
- Jacket - VG+: There is some creasing, ring wear, and very minor corner wear - but the seams are 100% solid and there are no tears or rips at all.
- Sleeve - G: A bit wrinkled and scuffed, and with some seam splitting. But it is included.
- Vinyl - EX: If I did one thing right in my life it was take care of my vinyl. Even thrash hardcore punk like this was always cleaned before each play, and very carefully handled. No warping, scratches, or brutal surface wear at all. Outstanding, outstanding vinyl.
A note about grading: I do my best to be as honest and objective as possible for all cosmetic evaluation, but obviously opinions differ. My VG might be your NM and some other dude's G, and when in doubt I'll go for the lower rating. However, I do make sure to confirm the vinyl play grading by putting each disc on the turntable and listening to it.
