Description
Hal Blaine, "Psychedelic Percussion" (Dunhill stereo 50019). A wild and woolly break-fest, a rich vein of sample material. Master drummer Hal Blaine and his friends on 12 instrumental tracks using dozens of different instruments (there's a list of them on the back cover), including, oh, the "beaver electric modulation apparatus," buggy whip, clavinette, wobble board, steel drums, traumatonium, and lots of just plain old DRUMS. Crazy album. Track listing (each is assigned a month of the year): Love-in, Freaky, Flashes, Kaleidoscope, Hallucinations, Flower Society, Trippin' Out, Tune In Turn On, Vibrations, Soulful, Inner-Space, Wiggy. Condition: record and cover are both VG+ (great play copy of the lp, clean and glossy; cover has just a bit of spine wear and a tiny price sticker and tiny bit of writing on the upper right corner).
