ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful and rare LP from Erato (LDE 3187, French pressing, green/white label, mono) entitled “hommage à Yves Nat” features a remarkable memorial album to the legendary French pianist that preserves not only two of his own compositions (one played by Nat himself), but also two interviews with the great man, and performances of Schumann and Chopin. The jacket shows a photograph of the strking bust made by his wife, Elise Yves-Nat.
Incidentally, Nat’s Piano Concerto is an exotic and shimmering composition and anyone who admires the Concertos of Ravel or Prokofiev will find much to savor here.

CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD. There is bumping at corners, edgewear, some ringwear, discoloration, and a small bit of writing to the rear panel. However, there are no seamsplits, owners' markings, or other defects, and the album remains solid, bright, glossy, and quite handsome in appearance – overall, a very good collector's copy.
The condition of the LP itself is similarly EXCELLENT. Although the surfaces are not CD silent, in general the playback is superb. Those needing a MINT or near-MINT copy are advised to look elsewhere. This is an excellent collector's copy.
