Here is a record you are very unlikely to see again!!!
Arman Ratip is well known on the collectors circuit for his 'spy from istanbul' lp from 1973, but this record is so so much rarer...and three years earlier...I have never come across another copy, or even reference to one, in many years of collecting.
This is certainly one of the most successful crossover recordings I have heard...the trio effortlessly blend turkish melodies with great piano, bass and drums, and it is just perfection....a truly great album.
I am loathe to use the mint grading for anything, but this record is as close as it gets. There are NO spindle marks, no wear, no scratches, no nothing. I really doubt that this record had been played at all before my one (very careful) test play! Really astonishing for a record thirty four years old!
The sleeve exhibits minor general wear, no damage, bar a price sticker on the rear of the sleeve. It grades vg+.
This record is unlikely to turn up again in the near future....and if it does turn up again, I doubt it will be in this nr unplayed condition! Don't miss out on this very very rare chance to own it!
