TEMPORARILY NO SHIPPING TO THE USA Temporary New Rules Starting August 29, 2025 The White House has announced that the import rules for packages to the United States (US) are changing. While previously no import duties were charged for packages up to US$800, you will now have to pay import duties on all packages entering the US. These rules take effect August 29, 2025. What do the new regulations mean? This change in the law means that the US Postal Service will no longer be able to handle customs clearance and import duties as of August 29. To date, US Customs has not provided clarity on how these packages will be allowed into the US. As a result, it will no longer be possible to send packages to the US starting August 23. Until August 23, it is still possible to use the current shipping method (because the packages will arrive in the United States before August 29). Letters and documents can still be sent. We are therefore exploring various alternatives for sending parcels and packages to the United States.
