Description
The auction you are bidding on is for an extremely rare copy of "it's late" by ILENE WOODS on the Jubilee Label. The record features it's original blue jubilee labels, which should mean it's a pre-1959 pressing (I've cited where I got that information below.) The record is JLP-1046 and was released in 1957. Ilene Woods is the actress who voiced Cinderella in the original Disney animated feature in 1950.
The record has some scratches and needs to be cleaned, especially around the edges. I haven't played it so I'm not sure if any of the scratches affect the play. The sleeve has some staining and foxing as well as some rubbing. The edges are worn and there is a split 2/3 of the way up the spine, starting at the bottom. If you have any questions please ask!

The first Jubilee label was pink with black printing, "jubilee" in black print above the center hole. "LONG PLAYING 33 1/3 RPM MICROGROOVE RECORDING" below the logo. The second label was dark blue with silver printing, the graphics are identical to the pink label. The early 1000 series had the pink label, most of the 1000 series releases were available with the blue label.
Jubilee's 12-inch albums started in 1955 with the numbering prefix "JLP-" (probably for "Jubilee Long Playing"). In 1959, the company began listing "Jay-Gee Recording Company, Inc." as the parent company. This took place somewhere between album number 1103 and 1107. The logo changed, the label changed, and the numbering prefixes changed (from JLP/SDJLP- to JGM/JGS-). The third label, which began to be used at this changeover time in 1959, was flat black with silver printing, with "jubilee" in silver inside a black oval which is surrounded by silver spikes, and a "Jay-Gee" credit on the bottom of the label.
