As the title implies, this is a great collection / 6 LP set from recordings for the legendary French BYG label, recorded between 1969 and 1971. This 6 Lps comes in 2 double gatefold covers - including 26 (some long / very long) tracks - so ca. 3,5 hours of collectible music from Sunny Murray, Archie Shepp, Steve Lacy, Daevid Allen, Sonny Sharrock, Jaques Coursil, Frank Wright, Dewey Redman, Acting Trio, Don Cherry, Anthony Braxton, Grachan Monchur III, Clifford Thornton, Dave Burrell, Jimmy Lyons, Claude Delcloo / Arthur Jones, Gong, Musica Elettronica Viva, Kenneth Terroade, Sun Ra, Arthur Jones, Burton Greene, Art Ensemble Of Chicago, Andrew Cyrille, Paul Bley and Alan Silva.
