the lp is the best of sammy rimington.and the best of issue honky tonk records.the honky tonk jazz club s idea of closing the 1973-1974 jazz season with the appearance of their own hometown group, the jeggpap N. O .jazzband, was good.The invitation to sammy rimington, the famous british clarinet and alto sax player, to appear as guest soloist was even better. Putting just some of the highlights of this marvellous concert into record form comes close to being inspiration.
