jimi hendrix smash hits track lp vinyl 1st mono a2/b2 valenti pressing vgc/vgc

Track 612004 a2/b2 mono

  cover - vgc - still a good solid copy with undamaged edges and full readable spine but a number of laminate creases see pics

inner sleeve - exc - plain white undamaged

vinyl - vgc - very heavyweight vinyl - undamaged labels showing an average number of spindle trails and full deep black gloss surfaces showing a number of non feelable stylus lines in keeping with its grading

The ever popular Jimi Hendrix smash hits original from 1968 first Mono A1 B1  pressing on UK Track Records black label , Purple Haze, Hey Joe, Stone Free, Foxy Lady, The Wind cries Mary, all are here ..... the earliest possible matrixes on this one.

This has the rarer `Valenti` credit for HEY JOE, later copies credited to `Roberts`

This is now the best and only reliable place to get the original "Mono Mixes" on the Iconic "Black Track" label of these 6 great tunes!

This was rolled out fast in 1968 following the release of "Are you Experienced" and "Axis Bold as Love" the singles "Wind Cries Mary" " Hey Joe" and "Purple Haze" were not included in the UK versions of the Debut "Are You Expeienced" Album so responding to requests Chas Chandler gave Jimis fans what they wanted...

"Smash Hits" 1968 MONO is a great one to partner "Are You Experienced" and you get the vibe of 67/68 in swinging London where these were recorded, Jimi was playing most nights and recording in London whenever he could., this is the legacy... this is exactly how Jimi wanted it to sound.
