Description
Rescued from a Relocation Sale LP collection, a nice John Coltrane LP titled Blue Train Blue Note 1577. Appears to be an early LP that has seen moderate plus playing time. Limited research finds this could be a collectible LP. Relevant information to help date this LP:
Back cover references Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St. New York 23. LP Label on both sides reference Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA. LP etching RVG BN-LP-1577A M9 on Side 1, and RVG BN-LP-1577B M9 on Side 2.
Not an LP grader but visual inspection finds some scuffs, scratches and small white paint? dots on Side 1. The cardboard cover appears to be original with some soiling, shelf wear and limited edge separation but is very legible and the picture has a blueish - greenish tint. No inside sleeve is included. Played on my modest turn table, has some background noise but no skips noted on either side.
Make your own determination as to grading and condition and bid accordingly. 30 day refund with domestic return for any reason. Previous buyer returned the LP offering some of the condition issues and a couple of the pics of small white dots and scratches and are included to supplement my pics and condition assessment. Previous starting price reduced accordingly.
