  • The tera rare MEXICAN Latin 45 by JOHNNY Y SU GRUPO de MONTERREY, NUEVO LEON, MEXICO (or MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN, MÉXICO) -- this 45 seems to show up maybe once every decade or so -- very scarce!!
  • Tracks are as follows:
    • LA BARACANIGUARA (killer super-tight  Latin jazz salsa guaguancó)
    • MI CUMBIA (wicked hypnotic Latin cumbia with synth/brass)
    • 1989 release on TESORO RECORDS (TR-901 -- labels state HECHO EN MEXICO but also give address of SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA, US).
    • VINYL:  The vinyl is visually a strong VG to perhaps VG+ on each side (shiny glossy wax with paper sleeve scuff wear on each side which appears heavy in the outer deadwax areas -- also, each side with a few more-visible scuff-type hairlines).
    • LABELS:  SEE PHOTOS (with some minor wear, some label peeling around the center hole, and a few indentation areas on the MI CUMBIA side which are most likely manufacturing-based).
