- BAILANDO EN LA SELVA (DANCING IN THE JUNGLE) (killer slow-tempoed shaker Latin psych mod soul cool-vibed instrumental with some exotic voiced jungle animal calls, heavy sax lines, subtle wah-wah guitar, and thick Dorian-mode organ -- along with OYE COMO VA by LITTLE JOE & THE EMBERS, definitely one of the top 3 tracks ever released by DISCO BONITO -- a must-have for TEXAS LATIN SOUL collectors and very very rare!)
- QUE MILAGRO CHAPARRITA (outstanding super-tight old-school Tejano/Tex-Mex orquesta ranchera -- awesome track!)
- 1971 regional independent release on DISCO BONITO (B-009 -- HOUSTON, TEXAS, US).
- VINYL: The vinyl is visually FAIR/POOR (with lots of scratches/scuffs -- also, the BAILANDO EN LA SELVA side is completely covered in an odd checkered-looking pattern in the wax like some magic little elf branded it with a tiny toy waffle iron...not really...but not sure what could have caused this -- BAILANDO EN LA SELVA plays quite well and way better than the visual appearance with a handful of faint ticks/muted clicks here and there...nothing overwhelming at all...all said, a terrific listen -- QUE MILAGRO CHAPARRITA also plays well and much better than the visual appearance...with a little more faints ticks/muted clicks compared to the other side...and a few regular clicks...again, a nice listen).
- LABELS: SEE PHOTOS (labels with rub wear/ring wear, more so on the BAILANDO EN LA SELVA side as well as some scuff lines here and there).
