hi, thanks to everyone who bid on or looked at this record when it was listed last week. due to fake bidders bidding on and winning the auction this item is being relisted. to stop this occuring again i'm affraid i am limiting who can bid on this record, please see the bottom of the listing for information about this, hopefully no genuine bidders will be affected.
this is a UK coxsone CS 7035. (matrix numbers CSMX 5012 A and B) The a side is marcia griffiths mojo girl, and the b side is tell me that you love me by the hamlins. some people list mojo girl as being sung by nora dean.
the record is a really decent VG+. the sound is really clear with a couple of pops and the odd crackle. the opening two or three turns of the record on mojo girl has some hiss though, after that its nice and clear. labels are nice and clean except for the little squiggle on the a side, please see the pictures.
i offer a full refund if the record is not as described. if this goes for a few quid i would also rather post it registered or special delivery for the insurance factor. i'm happy to answer any questions about this record. payment within five days of auction end, paypal only please, thanks for looking!
**** i only heard about 'fake bidders' a few weeks ago when i listed quite a few singles and a few ebay members contacted me asking me to be wary of bidders with zero feed back or ones who were newly listed. These 'bidders' simply sign up to new ebay accounts on ebay sites around the world on a near daily basis and get bidding for a few days until ebay finds out and cancels their ebay registration. it looks like this apparently mexican person or people bid on reggae singles simply to mess auctions up or to maybe have the chance of buying the record at a much cheaper 'second chance offer', if other bidders decline the second chance offer. sounds a bit crazy but more information about this can be seen at http://z7.invisionfree.com/PAMA_FORUM/index.php?showtopic=2748
**** LIMITATIONS OF WHO CAN BUY THIS ITEM. don't really like to do this, but i've had to limit my ebay account to only accept bids from people who have certain credentials. these are:
1. only people with a paypal account can bid on this item
2. people with negative feedback cannot bid on this item
3. people who have a feedback of less than 5 AND do not have a credit card listed with ebay will not be able to bid.
thanks for reading this and i hope no real bidders will be affected and these steps are enough to stop the fake bidders. i know these procedures are not ideal but the guy bidding on this record when it was listed before messed up the auction for both real bidders and myself, thanks for looking, tea two milky
