Kick out the jams
Notes: This is a rare white label UK issued test pressing of this album. It comes in plain sleeve only.
The labels are blank but the matrix's on the run-off groove state: K-42027-A1 side 1 K-42027 B1 side 2
I have played the album to check it's actually the right album and yes the chants of the crowd of this famous album can be heard at the beginning of side 1-this is the censored kick out the jams version. What I know is this album was originally issued here in UK and Ireland in the 1969 with the EKS/EKL CAT NO on the Orange/silver label. It did not sell well at the time probably being too much for the musical scene at the time.
This issue was released in around 1976/77 really to ride the punk explosion that was happening at the time here. The early stooges albums were also reissued by Elektra at the same time. Both they and the Mc-5 are rightly credited along with others to being a major influence on punk and also heavy metal. Lemmy from Motorhead was a fan of the Mc-5 having seen them in the UK in 1972.
The condition of the vinyl is by visual and audio a strong excellent grade with no marks/issued to disc surface-has full like newly pressed sheen to it. Really nice item to own.
