Description
Perhaps the best faux-beatnik record we've ever heard! Absolutely hilarious and ridiculous (and well executed, too) beat-bop poetry over excellent jazz-bop backing by the Saints, of Orlie "Twist and Freeze" fame. Comes in a slick gorgeous sleeve - this is the total package. Because of the dynamics of the record, it is ideally heard in this fantastic Near Mint condition.
In "Cool Yule," Tony spins a Christmas tale:
"Like, it was the night before Christmas, and all through the pad, not a hip cat was swinging, and that's nowhere, dad!"
In "Bear Rug," Tony....meets a polar bear...and some "chick"....and tries to fool the bear into giving him his fur coat:
"Like, I'm standing on a big ice cube with a big bear giving me that dig-you-for-dinner look, and I say 'cool,' like real cold, like freezing."
A truly rare release that we've never seen come up on eBay or discogs or anywhere else, with the picture sleeve, in near-perfect condition!
