This is for a single copy of the super-limited edition album Young Froth / Taypiss (number 588 of 683 to be exact--see picture). The album collects early recordings by Kevin Barnes that were previously unreleased. The record was pressed as part of a Kickstarter campaign to fund the documentary about of Montreal, which was called Song Dynasties (see insert, pictured), but was retitled The Past Is a Grotesque Animal (after a song on Hissing Fauna) before it was released. They only made as many records as they had donations at a specific level, or in other words, 683. The record and sleeve are in great shape. The record itself is a nice looking green marbled vinyl. The album also comes with a 12" poster insert--see pictures. This is a really great piece of of Montreal / Elephant 6 memorabilia.
