OLIVER NELSON: "THE BLUES AND THE ABSTRACT TRUTH" LP - On IMPULSE! Records, AS-5.   Rare vintage jazz Lp!  Stereo pressing with the classic Orange & Black labels.  RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated gatefold cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Oliver Nelson/tenor and alto saxophone; Eric Dolphy/alto saxophone and flute; Freddie Hubbard/trumpet; George Barrow/baritone saxophone; Bill Evans/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Roy Haynes/drums.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful sheen)!!  The thick laminated gatefold jacket displays wonderfully!  No seam splits, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Stolen Moments; Hoe Down; Cascades; Yearnin'; Butch and Butch; Teenie's Blues.
