*** 1928 Jazz classic ***
Two top notch sides by a group led by the legendary pianist, composer, promoter, vocalist, theatrical producer, and publisher Clarence Williams. Dig that slow and mean brass bass on "Dreaming". Clarence born 1898 in a small town in Louisiana ran away from home at age 12 to New Orleans and became one of the most important people in the pre-war African-American music biz.
