Midnight Dread's Lee "Scratch" Perry auctions continue with this classic 1966 hit "Pussy Galore" features vocals from Lee Perry plus wonderful background vocals from Bob Marley & The Wailers including Peter Tosh & Bunny Wailer. Its rhythm is an alternate take of The Wailers' "Rude Boy Ska". An hilarious and raunchy take-off on the famous James Bond film's female lead with Perry singing he "wants you to know I'm talking about Goldfinger!" The flipside is a hot and scorching ska era instrumental from the Soul Brothers with Roland Alphonso and other key members from The Skatalites. This ORIGINAL Jamaican medium weight vinyl pressing is on a Studio One labeled 7"and is in VG+ condition. No warp and no skips. Amazing background vocals from Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer & The Wailers. Rolando Alphonso takes flight on the flip in an uptempo ska gem from the roots. Crucial!
