VINYL STRONG VISUAL VG w LOTS OF WISPY HAIRLINE TURNTABLE WEAR THAT, FOR THE MOST PART, DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY. With that said, there's a wee bit of crackle between songs and the start of each side. No worries, the all important SIDE 1 plays through clean once it gets rolling. Side 2 has a wee bit more crackle at times but, again, plays through without any repetitious skipping etc. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR PERFECTION, move on. But if you don't mind a slightly LIVED IN ORIGINAL for the MAN-CAVE, this one's for you. BTW the FRONT COVER, SEAMS, and SPINE are GORGEOUS. Great if you need a cover upgrade.
Matrices identify this as a 1967 pressing which was pressed at Atlantic Studios using Longwear Plating metalwork and a Scully Lathe.In other words, SOUNDS F'N GREAT !!!!

The Columbia pressings, which were issued during a brief transition in 1968 between Stax’s termination of Atlantic’s distribution and being acquired by Gulf + Western, have thinner vinyl with machine-stamped matrices,THIS ONE !!!
