Description
This is an original copy of Alto Madness by Jackie McLean and John Jenkins. See description above. I am not a professional dealer but am assisting an antique dealer friend to liquidate an estate with a great Jazz collection. This is my second batch of rare albums. See recent feedback for prior sales to show that I do my best to be very accurate with my descriptions. This has a beaded edge, RV etched, a deep groove and the NY address. Domestic shipping $12 double boxed and international $40. I am not ending this early and I will let the bidders decide what this is worth. Check my listings as I am going to list about 20 rare albums this week.
UPDATE I added a photo of the area with the scratches. In the first track there is a faint line that runs in the general direction of the grooves. In the second track there is a small area that looks more like a rub than a scratch. This may clean off but I do not have the capacity to clean it. I played the entire side through and there we no skips or hang ups. I did hear surface noise on an off through the entire side ( most noticeable to me in the softer sections of track 2) but nothing that I would consider too distracting. The added image makes the area look worse than it is. I am not a professional dealer so take this description in mind when evaluating the grade of the album.
