original DAVID BOWIE Hunky Dory LP 1971 EX/NM w/ hype stkr, lyric inner sleeve

What I’m offering is a non-cutout copy of the LP by David Bowie titled Hunky Dory, issued on RCA Victor LSP-4623 in 1971. This is an ORIGINAL pressing and NOT a reissue of any kind.

The matrix numbers in the trail-off area on side 1, all of which are machine-stamped, reads " APRS-5947 2S I A2 ". The matrix numbers in the trail-off area on side 2, all of which are machine-stamped, reads " APRS-5948 2S I A2 ".

The grading on the LP is EX cover, NM record.

The cover, which is a flat, textured matte cover, has a small amount of wear in the top left corner tip and a tiny ding/ crease in the top right corner tip. There is a slight misfold on the bottom seam of the front cover. This happened during manufacture and makes it appear as though it is a bottom seam split. It is not, it's just a slight misfold. I have provided a close-up scan of the bottom seam. Also, the original hype sticker that was on the front shrinkwrap when the LP was sold, was removed from the shrinkwrap and affixed to the front cover. NICE!! This cover is usually found with plenty of wear as the cover's flat textured finish is of a fragile nature and did not hold up well. This one is a TOP CONDITION cover!!

The record, which is pressed on RCA's very flimsy Dynaflex vinyl and comes in its original custom lyric inner sleeve, has a couple of small surface marks on side 1 and one small surface mark on side 2, all of what are totally inaudible and does not affect its play. The lyric inner sleeve is in EX condition with some light creasing and waviness but no splits.

You will be very happy with this record.

To prevent any splits to the custom inner sleeve, I will be shipping the LP inside of a plain white inner sleeve along with the custom inner sleeve.
