Description
Three double 12” single promos from the Positiva catalogue containing rare remixes that weren’t readily available on the original, official releases.
From 2003, some of these mixes were played on my Friday nights at Manchester’s Paradise Factory on Princess Street, so be secure in the knowledge that you are buying a little bit of Manchester history.
Each volume says it’s a “Strictly Limited Edition” and I haven’t actually seen all three sold together anywhere else.
Volume 1 Disco Evangelists De Niro (Dirty Funker Mix) (my personal favourite from all 3 volumes) and (Double Funk Remix)….. Judy Cheeks (Hoxton Whores Remix and Dub).
Volume 2 Teansformer 2 (Infusion Remix)… unfortunately not available on Spotify or Apple, as I reckon it’s by far the best remix of this track. (Cosmicman Dark Remix) too. Two mixes of Perpetual Motion Keep On Dancin’ -Let’s Go ( Scott Mac vs DJ Cams Remix & Andy Manston’s Retro Remix). Volume 3 includes 4 mixes of trance classics by Binary Finary, Veracocha, BBE & Brainbug. 1998 (Ronski Soeed Remix), Carte Blanche (Ronald Van Gelderen Remix), Seven Days & One Week (Ferry Corsten Remix) & finally Nightmare (Ingo Remix).
You would get a decent set list just by using this handful of mixes. Not listed here but given free of charge are a couple of Positiva promo 12” singles given for free. I won’t say, as I would like it to be a surprise but rest assured that they compliment the three that are listed.
