FIRST OFF... this is NOT a record. i am selling a POSTER for the 1973 avant-garde festival on a train in NY city. curated by charlotte moorman, participants listed include: tony conrad, philip corner, ed emshwiller, a.m. fine, robert filliou, JOHN CAGE, giuseppe chiari, shirley clarke, CHRISTO, BILL FONTANA, daniel goode, gorilla action group, pietro grossi, al hansen, geoff hendricks, dick higgins, tochi ichiyanagi, allan KAPROW, billy kluver, athrur kopcke, alison knowles, richard kostelanetz, tokahisa kosugi, shigeko kubota, jacques lasti, sherri levine, annea lockwood, ALVIN LUCIER, james tenney, yasunao tone, woody vasulka, steina vasulka, ben vautier, yoshi wada, wolf VOSTELL, bob watts, gordon mumma, MAX NEUHAUS, ARTHUR RUSSELL, carolee scheemann, mieko shiomi, MICHAEL SNOW, a lot of artists/music people like in the broken music catalog, and a zillion others. looks to be SIGNED by an artist in light pencil, but i can't make out whose signature it is. as you can see this was an incredibly important festival involving much of the experimental sound art and avant-garde music folks, not to mention performance, happening, and conceptual artists. THE POSTER IS 31 INCHES X 20 INCHES. CONDITION: the edges have some minor issues of creasing and edge tears. there is also some light cresing to the poster overall, but would not be noticeable matted or in a frame. will be shipped rolled in a tube.
