Description
An original one-owner open reel recording of the Electric Light Orchestra's album called "A New World Record". It's copyrighted 1976 by united artists music and records group, I purchased this item new probably in about 1978. I have played it before, but it has been in storage for easily 30 years and unplayed during that time. Even at 3.75 ips, the recording is vibrant and has tremendous detail. ELO had some of the best production values and recording engineers working with them at the time and this album includes numerous songs that went on to become top hits like Tight Rope, Telephone Line, Livin' Thing, and more.
The box is straight and clean with only minimal scuffing on the front label and has no sign of any environmental damage.
The tape is cleanly wound on the reel. Given the age, there are no returns, no warranties, express or implied. The item will be as described in this description and in the photos which are made a part of this description. The item will be shipped media mail and you should plan on about 20 to 24 ounce shipping weight, padded and packed.
