• The tera rare AFRO-CUBAN Latin jazz salsa guaguancó 45 by ORQUESTA POSITIVA with GREGORIO GÓMEZ!!

• Tracks are as follows:

• AMISTAD Y CARIÑO (a superb salsa guaguancó track with massive brass, female vocals, and a few breaks)
  
• EL DESAYUNO (another superb salsa guaguancó track with massive brass, great male vocals, exquisitely-tight female harmony vocals, and the occasional conversation between the male vocalist and one of the cute-sounding female vocalists)
  

• 1984 private BAY AREA micro-label release on PALMONT RECORDS PRODUCTION (BB5303 -- SAN BRUNO, CALIFORNIA, US).

• May appeal to those into the following GREGORIO GOMEZ releases:

• 1977 45:  RITMO 74 -- "BOMBA A MI MANERA" + "TU PROBLEMA" -- PALO MONTE RECORDS (GG0777)
  
• 1981 LP:  ORQUESTA ESENCIA -- FUERZA POSITIVA -- PALO MONTE RECORDS PRODUCTIONS (JCE-1001)

• When viewed from afar, the disc appears to be a black wax -- however, it is revealed to be a PURPLE TRANSLUCENT WAX when held up to a bright light (the last photo is a representation of how the purple translucent wax will appear)!

• VINYL:  The vinyl is visually FAIR to VG- on each side (shiny wax but with a fair amount of scratches and such on each side -- the EL DESAYUNO side also has some minor jukebox-type swirl scuff wear).
• AUDIO 1:  AMISTAD Y CARIÑO plays NICELY but with faint ticks/faint clicks here and there...more so in the beginning.
• AUDIO 2:  EL DESAYUNO plays GREAT for the majority of the song...however, there are repeat clicks for the first minute which are followed by the occasional tick/click for a little bit...after that, the remainder of the track plays quite nicely so that by the ending, one could say that the repeat clicks during the first minute are all but just a distant memory -- the vocals on this track are so catchy and tight that it is very hard to get the song out of one's mind after just a single listen!
