VARIOUS ARTISTS "El Pea" (Island IDLP 1) original UK 1971 stereo 1st pressing (pink rim Island label)
CLASSIC COMPILATION ALBUM! A great way to listen to some rare tracks on the original ISLAND label - many of these albums sell for £100s. On the original "pink rim" label, with un-laminated gatefold sleeve printed by "AV/PAK Sound Packaging Partnership". Discs are housed in unique PVC wallet with foam pads down edge, presumably to give the discs a gentle clean as you take it in and out. I will send discs in paper sleeves to avoid any damage to the PVC wallet thing...

DESCRIPTION : The records have been really well looked after - a few paper scuffs (one non-audible mark on side 3), really nice. Audio is great throughout. Labels are perfect. Gatefold sleeve shows general light wear consistent with a 40 year old album - some light edge wear, some yellowing of the tape which holds the PVC wallet in place - pretty good really. Somebody has neatly written the names of the artists (in pencil) beside the illustrations inside the gatefold- could be rubbed out, but I think it's quite charming! All round great copy! PS I will send discs in paper sleeves to avoid any damage to the PVC wallet thing...

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting.
