LONG PLAY LP record:
YES "Fragile" (Atlantic 2401019) original 1971 UK 1st pressing (red/plum label) gatefold sleeve + booklet
STUNNING ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESSING! Beautiful condition vinyl. Un-laminated gatefold sleeve (with rough card textured on inner) printed by MacNeill Press Ltd. with stapled in booklet. Rare A1/B1 matrix stampers. Add to this the "1" and "1" mother stampers and you have one of the very earliest pressings of the first press! Complete with poly-lined "plastic bags can be dangerous" inner, with correct "1071" code (denoting October 1971 - consistent with the release date of November 1971).
Matrix: 2401019 A//1 (mother 1 1 4) and 2401019 B//1 (mother 1 2 1)

CONDITION : (Sleeve/Record) EX/M-
DESCRIPTION : Record in lovely condition - just a few hairline scuffs, probably only played a handful of times - full gloss. Labels pristine, except for one TINY mark on side two. Cover shows light wear - outside of gatefold is all nice (sharp spine, some light edge rubs). Inside of gatefold is made of different rough card, so protrudes by about 1mm on opening edge - and due to this slight protrusion, it has some light rubbing (some less scrupulous dealers would no doubt have trimmed this off - but I have left it intact). Also, inside the gatefold is a small rectangle of glue residue from an old owners name sticker, and a couple of tiny bits of sellotape on top right (nothing too serious, see photo). But still a solid excellent - the booklet is completely intact, staples in place and glued in position. An all round superb copy! You won't find a better one in a long while!

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish anything extra please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
