Description
Rare 45 rpm record. FLAIR #1018 features BIG DUKE and his Orchestra performing "HEY DR. KINSEY" and "HELLO BABY." The vinyl is in Near Mint (NM or M-) condition and is a thick, first pressing. A tough record to find and this one is spotless! The matrix number is 45-FL-141/45-FL-142. Graded M- with only minor WOL on the otherwise perfect label, this is the record collectors upgrade their existing one or new collectors start a top notch collection with. My father spent 60+ years collecting the best records available and stored them perfectly. Own a piece of music history in perfect form! (I’m still working on the reflections in the pictures)
If you use Popsike etc for reference make sure you read the listings for condition, zoom in on the record for visual condition and view the history. The latest one that sold does not necessarily the bar. There is a night and day difference between VG- and M-!!
I ship worldwide via USPS First Class International and USPS Priority flat rate within the US. I recommend insurance as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged records. That said I pack all records professionally in 78 and 45 specific boxes with a padding process I upgraded from just traditional cardboard squares alone. I will combine records at no further charge but will not put more than two 78’s or three 45’s per box. 45 RPM GRADING-
NM : Near perfect, no visible signs of handling. Highly desirable and very hard to find.
M- : A few visual imperfections, very, very light marks. (e.g. sleeve scuffs) extremely desirable condition.
EX or VG++ which eBay doesn’t have: May have light marks and scuffs, no scratches felt by touch, very acceptable collector record.
VG+ : The record will display a number of light scuffs and/or light background hiss. Still plays well
VG : Scuffs all around and or label wear. A few scratches but plays all the way through w/o skip
VG- : A few marks of which can be felt with a fingernail and/or heavy label wear, hiss and pops
G : (I do not sell G rated records on eBay!)
