Description
From 1958, the Shirelles sing I Met Him On A Sunday and I Want You To Be My Boyfriend, on English Brunswick 05746. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the A side which is nowhere near the grooves and play is not affected. Other than that, this extremely rare 78 is in excellent plus condition and plays well.
I must point out that all the records I sell are from my own personal collection and, almost without exception, THERE ARE NO SECOND COPIES HIDING AROUND THE CORNER, so any "second chance offers" will have to be ignored - sorry! If you win more than one record, you will make a saving on postage, so please wait for the bill. I have been forced to use a courier service now, thanks to the fabulous new Post Office-inspired postage charges which have more than doubled the cost of sending one 78 in a proper box; any number of 78s can be sent for £5.50, in a proper box. One 78 could be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class but the box will have to be under 8mm thick and the risk of breakage would be greater. The cost would be £3.50, the risk would be yours - just let me know. Overseas parcels do not seem to be affected by this nonsense. Thanks.
