A word about White label Promo LPs:
White label promotional LP’s are denoted by the more
generic white center record labels with black
lettering on the vinyl (as opposed to the full color
labels which were associated with the standard
issues). These are often sought after by collectors,
because they were generally the first LP’s pressed off
the master plates. Since most of these would be
serviced to Radio Stations (in the pre-CD days) the
various record companies wanted to make sure to use
the highest audio quality vinyl copies for this
purpose.
I would rate the vinyl as EX-/VG++, very clean with just a bit of surface noise
I would rate the cover about the same, with just some corner & spine wear. Stamped as promo on the back (see picture # 2)
