James "Stump" Johnson and his piano
US recorded LONG ISLAND CITY January 1929 QRS 7049 (78 rpm).

SNITCHER misspelled as "THE SWITCHERS BLUES"

NICE PLAYABLE COPY OF THIS FANTASTIC 1929 ORIGINAL RARITY FROM JAMES (STUMP) JOHNSON AND HIS PIANO

E- (78) . Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. I have not cleaned this record. I will leave the cleaning to the experts.

Light hiss, but plays loud & clear. Cleaning should improve quailty of play.



Faint writing can be seen on label if held correctly to the light

"A" side says 600 written under the word DUCK and "B" side says $1.50 VG+ in the black left side of label.(see photo) Otherwise label is clean and in nice condition (see photo)
