VERY INTERESTING EARLY SKA RECORD FROM 1964. A-SIDE IS A LOVELY SKA DUET. B-SIDE IS A SKA INSTUMENTAL BY LESTER STERLING, CALLED INDIAN SUMMER.

THERE IS ALSO SOMETHING STRANGE ABOUT THIS RECORD! THE LABEL ON THE A-SIDE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN PLACED ON TOP OF ANOTHER LABEL. SEE MY PHOTO. YOU CAN SEE AT THE TOP LEFT THERE IS ANOTHER LABEL UNDER THIS ONE! THIS IS THE REASON YOU HAVE THIS GREY SHADOW ON THE LABEL...

Label: R&B. Cat No JB 172. Country: UK. Date: 1964. Condition: Vinyl looks in VG/VG+ condition (SOME VISIBLE SURFACE MARKS, IT PLAYS FINE WITHOUT SKIPS/JUMPS, BUT THERE IS SOME SURFACE NOISE) . Labels in VG- condition (SURFACE MARKS AND SOME STAINING AND SMALL CRACK AT PUSH-OUT CENTRE, BUT NO MAJOR DAMAGE OR SCUFFS, SEE PHOTO). comes in plain white sleeve

Record Collector's Grading System

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
