Description

"Through Acceptance of the Mystery Peace: the Music of William Parker" on CENTERING RECORDS [ 1001 ]  featuring avant-garde bassist William Parker in a variety of settings: an octet, a septet and two trios. Musicians involved are (among others) Peter Kuhn, Charles Brackeen, Jemeel Moondoc, Billy Bang, Dennis Charles... The four selections are William Parker compositions and were recorded at different times: 1974, 1976, 1977 & 1979.

This private label release was thinly-distributed and is therefore almost impossible to find, especially in this condition. The album cover is NEAR MINT and the vinyl is NEAR MINT bordering on pristine.

A reasonable reserve has been set for a Free Jazz collector's item of this stature.
