Description

Extremely rare find. From the estate of Len Rosen, founder of Sure Records in Broomall Pennsylvania. Sure also pressed the Tone Craft and Cedargrove labels. Found among hundreds of stashed away 45's and lp's in storage for years. Most Sure recordings are of Philadelphia string bands; but early on Sure recorded some doo wop and teen pop masterpieces. Offered here is Tone Craft #1009 The Corvets Voodoo Baby / I Want To Know Why. Recorded in 1959. The Corvets were also knows as the Ivytones. A Philly masterpiece!  Hard to imagine a cleaner example.
