original US pressing, classic rare groove Lp, produced 1976 by Ed Bland & percussionist Pablo Landrum. Al Pazant (trumpet) and Ed Pazant (alto, tenor and baritone saxes, flute) have been part of Pucho & his Latin Soul Brothers from the late 60's to the early 70's. The Pazant Brothers & The Beaufort Express had been releasing infectious hard instrumental funk 45's since the early 70s on small independent labels. In 1975 they released "Loose And Juicy'" on the US label Vanguard, which has become incredibly rare and sought after by funk collectors
