The next weeks I will sell an interesting classic collection ( about 300 records) with many rare items. Most of the records are from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

I start selling with about 100 records mostly from the fifties and sixties, many DeutscheGrammophonTulip records. Later will come many more original records from Decca, Columbia, rare mono recordings, contemporary composers and small labels as well.

Important facts about these records :

§ original, first pressings (if not stated otherwise)

§ in uncleaned, original & mostly superb condition, even a vg graded record will play without problems and might significantly improve after cleaning

§ each record is graded under daylight condition

§ each record is graded following detailed grading procedure

§ no records with a grading less than vg- will be offered, so pleasure for the collector is always guaranteed!

§  most records will be presented with at least three pictures for your best possible visual impression

Unless noted, every record is an original issue for the label and catalog number given. Here’s my grading system, based on the famous goldmine standard

Vinyl: All records are carefully visually graded under daylight conditions.

Cover:all covers are carefully visually graded under daylight conditions. Age-related spots, typically reddish-brown in color or stickers or writings on the cover /label are not mentioned. I have taken as much photo’s possible of the cover & label so you can get the best possible impression of the cover/label.

Most record covers from the fifties or sixties with typical age-related wear will have the VG (between + and -) grading

If you are not satisfied due to bad grading I will refund your record.

in factory-fresh condition

these records show no traces of usage (bus can be dusty), no scuffs orhairlines at all

Mint Minus

similar to near mint

a near perfect record which shows just a few signs of usage (few hairlines or scuffs) which don’t affect play

VG+

Very Good Plus

a nice record which shows some signs of usage ( hairlines or scuffs) which  hardly affect playing.  Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

VG

Very Good

a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG-

Very Good Minus

significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise

G+

Good Plus

this condition will be offered only exceptionally (in case of an extreme rare record)
