Rock'n'Roll / 50's Pop US EP
pretty rare promo EP with excerpts from 12 new releases featuring Elvis Presley a.o.
Various Artists "Dealers' Prevue" SDS-57-39.
USA, 1957, white label promo copy; with company sleeve.
Vinyl shows a few scuffs, plays with only light background noise, would be overall VG+, BUT has a small crack at the rim (maybe 3 or 4 mm long) which causes clics during the first song on each side - so if you are a Stuart Hamblen or Kathy Barr fan, this is probably not for you. The Elvis songs are not affected and play nicely.
Labels are clean.
"H2 NH-6567 1S" and "H2 NH-6568 1S" machine-stamped in dead wax.
Artists and excerpt tracks:
Side 1:
Kathy Barr: A Slip Of The Lip - Welcome Mat / Perry Como: Just Born (To Be Your Baby) - Ivy Rose / Eddie Fisher: Sayonara - That's The Way It Goes.
Side 2:
Stuart Hamblen: That Old Rugged Cross - Old Time Religion / Elvis Presley: Jailhouse Rock - Treat Me Nice / Statesmen Quartet: Till The Last Leaf Shall Fall - Every Hour And Every Day.
